Iowa Women's Foundation

The Iowa Women's Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of women & girls in Iowa.  They provide grants to non-profit organizations and community groups that wish to expand opportunities for Iowa women and girls.

A New Design, Please

When we first saw the Iowa Women's Foundation old website, it was clear that they were in need of a completely new design. The old site had several issues beyond the general aesthetics - text was small and hard to read, the navigation system was nearly impossible to understand and use, and the site lacked a focal points.

We set out to completely overhaul the site from the ground up - starting with IWF's content. We completely reorganized all of their information into three easy-to-understand sections: About The Foundation, Information for Grant Seekers, Learn and Take Action. The result: users spend more time on the site and view more pages.

Once we had an easy-to-use navigation, we set out to make a clean and professional design. We used large buttons to highlight the navigation and "call to action" buttons on the homepage to highlight pages that were important to IWF. This gave the website focus and provided clear options to visitors.
